Come celebrate the connection between plants and water with the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden on Saturday, April 20 at Earth Day.
 
 
Participate in family-friendly activities and engage with community partners who will be on-site from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Many partners provide take-home items, bags are encouraged.
 
 
Iowa Bonsai Association Spring Show and Sale
Saturday, April 20 and Sunday, April 21
10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Bonsai is an Asian art form which incorporates artistic and horticultural skills and techniques to produce small trees in containers that mimic the spirit, shape, and proportions of full-size trees in nature. Come explore the Iowa Bonsai Association’s Spring Show and Sale.
