School Break Day Camps: The fun keeps on growing!

Botanical Garden school break day camps in Des Moines allow youth to explore the natural world through botanical, artistic and scientific activities. Our innovative day camps for kids inspire youth to create, explore and discover in our unique garden classrooms. Whether you’re interested in spring break camps, winter break camps or another holiday camp, we have something your little one is sure to love.

All camps run 9 am-4 pm and are designed for students in first through fifth grade.

Three-Day Camps:

    Dec 21, 22, 23 (3-Day)

    Our collection of plants and unique garden spaces inspire creativity in artists of all ages. With unlimited prompts from nature, campers will explore their creative side as they grow their artistic expression through different artistic mediums & natural materials.

    Mad Scientists

    Dec 28, 29, 30 (3-Day)

    This 3 day camp allows campers to dive into science. Campers can experiment with plants, test methods of seed dispersal, and perform plant dissections during this action-packed camp.

    Camp Logistics

    All camps are designed for first-through fifth-graders. Enroll your child based on what grade they are currently in.
    All camps are capped at 14 participants.
    Prices are listed per child per camp and includes a camp souvenir, snack, supplies for all activities and multiple projects to take home and enjoy.
    Youth should bring a sack lunch to enjoy.
