The Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden invites you to take off your coat and unwrap your scarf this winter at our exciting new Dome for the Holidays signature event! This NEW and one-of-a-kind enchanting holiday display boasts thousands of lights, creatively strung throughout our tropical conservatory and Gardeners Show House along with a nightly Dome Glow Up light show that can be seen inside and out. It’s a perfect way to experience all the magic of the season in an always friendly climate.

Coinciding with the Historic Des Moines East Village Holiday Promenade, this will surely become a sought-after family tradition. Visitors will be able to stroll in the evening through our transformed tropical oasis immersed in dynamic displays of twinkling lights, incredible glass art installations, music, refreshments, and more.
