Want to learn how to identify and successfully forage right here in Iowa? Foraging offers a variety of nutritional foods to those who take the time to look, and it encourages you to slow down and take in your surroundings while you enjoy the serenity of nature. Join local forager Lindsey Coyne of  Herb and Forage and learn how to identify edible plants, what plants are available during each season, and how to utilize wild plants in your everyday life. Registration required.

Pruning 101

Effective pruning can transform your yard and garden. Come learn the basics from our staff on fall and winter pruning for trees, shrubs, and perennials as well as see demonstrations of proper techniques. Registration required.

Plant hangers are a unique and fun way to display your houseplants at home! Join Macramé by Jess in this introductory course and design your own one-of-a-kind macramé plant hanger using your choice of white, black, mint, or wine-colored cord. Then take home a 4-inch terra cotta pot and plant to display in your plant hanger! Registration required.
