She will speak about her latest book "When Trees Testify—Science, Wisdom, History, and America's Black Botanical Legacy". John T. Price will moderate. Free event, no preregistration required. After this event, consider joining the Greater Des Moines Botany Book Club for discussions while immersed in the beauty of the Garden. February's book will be "When Trees Testify".
