Stroll through our transformed tropical oasis as you enjoy a dynamic display of thousands of twinkling lights, an incredible collection of blown glass sculptures, festive music, train display, gnome hunt, refreshments, and more. This enchanting holiday display is sure to be a sought-after, unforgettable family tradition, as it’s the perfect way to experience all the magic of the season. Dome for the Holidays’ new evening format showcases an indoor illuminated light show throughout the tropical conservatory and Gardeners Show House.     Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden 909 Robert D. Ray Dr, Des Moines, IA

    Join us for a fun, interactive story time that explores nature and plants. During each program participants will enjoy stories and an activity based on the week’s theme. Story Sprouts is geared toward children ages two to five. Included with general admission. Every Friday from Oct 4 (except on Oct 25 it will be on Oct 26) to Dec 27, 2024. No Story Sprouts on Nov 15 or Nov 29, 2024.
