Restorative Yoga in the Garden
Learn to un-rush, unwind, and understand the self through guided mind, breath, and body connections. This restorative Yoga in the Garden session takes place in the Botanical Garden’s lush atmosphere. Through the support of props like bolsters, blocks, and blankets, you’ll navigate the true art of surrender. As a result you will reduce stress and release tension. Poses are held for 5-10 minutes and each end in a meditative Shavasana. Small group size allows for optional massage and hands-on assists. Please arrive 10 minutes early and wear comfortable, layered clothes. All props provided, but bring your own mat or blanket if preferred. Not a member yet? Join here.

The Botanical Garden offers a beautiful setting where people can find peace, rejuvenation, spark memories, evoke feelings, and bring people together. The therapeutic power of nature is well-known and diverse in approaches. Medicinal plants, healthy plant-based foods, peaceful settings for journaling, exercise, and fresh air are just a few ways in which plants and nature support wellness.
We partner with experienced instructors and educators from our community to offer year-round wellness programs that encourage people to enhance their well-being. From physical to mental to environmental well-being, this series of programs intends to improve many different dimensions of wellness.
