Pick up your bulbs from the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden Fall Bulb Sale early during this happy hour type event. Horticulture and Education staff will be there to answer your bulb questions and provide advice to help you achieve beautiful blooms in the spring. More details in Spanish here.  The City of Des Moines and Polk County are curating a monthly series of programs to help educate about the City of Des Moines’ Climate Action and Adaptation Plan (ADAPT DSM), sustainability efforts by Polk County, other sustainability efforts happening in the metro, and how community members can get involved and take climate action. 

Fall Bulb Sale Pick Up Day

Pick up your unique bulb varieties* selected by Botanical Garden horticulturists, including plants featured at the Botanical Garden TODAY.  All orders must be placed on or before Sept. 30, 2024 in our online store. Pickup will be Saturday, October 12 from 9 am-4 pm in our parking lot. There will be signage to direct you to the location.  There will be staff there to assist you. There will be no pick up in the lobby of the Botanical Garden. Pickup instructions will be listed upon checkout. *Plant quantities are limited and subject to availability from the grower. Any unavailable items will be refunded. In the case that there are backordered bulbs, there will be an additional pickup time scheduled on a later day.

Zumba is a dance fitness program that combines Latin and international music to create an easy, fun, and effective workout anyone can do.
