It’s Election Time: Make Your Tastebuds Heard.

Every Vote Counts.

Join us for the Sips & Sweets Garden tour this October. You’ll be the ones given the opportunity of selecting the 2024 official chocolate for Champagne & Chocolate, our premier fundraiser held in November. It’s a pretty sweet way to make a difference!

With a glass of wine in hand, join Aaron Harpold, director of horticulture, to check out current garden highlights. In addition, three chocolate stops, courtesy of Chocolaterie Stam will be incorporated into the stroll, where we ask you to vote for your favorite. The most popular confection will be selected as the 2024 official chocolate of Champagne & Chocolate.

Some Sweet Candidates.

No politicians, no speeches, just a beautiful setting, wine, and chocolate. If only all elections were so serene and delicious! Four Sips & Sweets tours are available on October 1 and 2, at 5:30 or 7 pm. For details and to register click here

Join us at The Champagne & Chocolate gala held Friday, November 15, 6 – 9 pm. Kick off the holiday season with this bright and energizing celebration that raises vital funds to benefit the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden’s outreach, education, horticulture, and community programs. An added bonus: you’ll see if your chocolate choice was the winner! Click here for more information or to purchase a ticket (available October 1 – November 1).

Be a Supporter!

If you are interested in sponsoring the gala event as an individual or business partner, contact Steve Biever, director of development, 515.402.4280.
