What is better than books and botany? Each month January through June, read a book with us about or involving plants. Escape the Iowa weather and join other botanical book lovers for discussions, snacks, and refreshments while immersed in the beauty and warmth of the Garden.
We’re partnering with Raccoon River Press which is women-owned and operated in West Des Moines, to bring you the plant-themed must reads of 2023. Check out the reading schedule below!
Price per session: Members $8, Nonmembers $12
Season Pass for all six sessions: Members $32, Nonmembers $48
Registration includes onsite book club meetings in the lush conservatory, snacks, and refreshments. Registration does not include books.
Participants can purchase books from Raccoon River Press to receive 15% off, purchase from other book retailers, or utilize their local library to borrow the books.
