Designed for students in sixth through eighth grade. Investigate how plants have adapted to survive in the tropical rainforest using microscopes, chlorophyll meters, soil moisture meters, and more!

We also offer a Winter Break Day Camp for first through fifth grades; Jungle Safari. This day camp is offered Tuesday, December 27, Wednesday, December 28, and Thursday, December 29.

Looking for a “sweet” family activity for New Years Eve? Register for our Chocolate Chat family workshop!

This workshop is available Saturday December 31 from 10:30-11:45 a.m. and 12:30-1:45 p.m.

Have fun learning about chocolate and eating it too! See the cacao tree in our conservatory, learn how chocolate is made, indulge in a chocolate taste, and make your own batch of delicious hot chocolate mix. These hands-on workshops offer a fun, creative experience for youth and an adult to build a take-home project together.

For ages 5-14 and an adult. One adult is required for every three youth participants. Registration required.
