Pop-up Activity Tables
10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday, December 27-Friday, December 30 and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, December 31.- Celebrate the unique beauty and fascinating world of plants through games and crafts.
- Included with admission.
Tropical Terrariums
11 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday, December 27-Friday, December 30 and 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, December 31- Learn about tropical plants, small-scale ecosystems, and the water cycle as you create your own tropical terrarium to take home. Groups will work at their own pace. No preregistration. Available while supplies last.

Chocolate Chat family workshop
Saturday, December 31, 10:30 a.m.-11:45 a.m. and 12:30-1:45 p.m.-
Have fun learning about chocolate and eating it, too! See the cacao tree in our conservatory, learn how chocolate is made, indulge in a chocolate taste and make your own batch of delicious hot chocolate mix. These hands-on workshops offer a fun, creative experience for youth and an adult to build a take-home project together. One adult is required for every three youth participants. Registration required.

Jungle Safari is designed for first- through fifth-graders and NEW this year, Tropical Adaptations is offered for sixth- through eighth-graders.

- Discover the fascinating plants and animals that lurk in the depths of tropical rainforest using our lush conservatory as a guide. This is a one-day camp that is being offered multiple days over winter break. These camps are identical. Please do not register your child for more than one day.

- Designed for sixth- through eighth-graders. Investigate how plants have adapted to survive in the tropical rainforest using microscopes, chlorophyll meters, soil moisture meters, and more!
